The Playstation 3 version of Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection has many differences from it's PSP counterpart, mainly as the PS3 version is a port of the arcade version. Jinpachi Mishima, the unplayable boss in Tekken 5 and Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection, is playable in the PlayStation 3 version and the Playstation Portable (with custom firmware 3.40 or above and CWCheat). The Playstation 3 version, which is a direct port of the arcade version, was made available to download on Februfor the people who have a US PlayStation network account, and the Japanese version was made available to download on Decemfor the Japanese PlayStation network. Originally made for the PlayStation Portable, it has been ported to the PlayStation 3 game system. In the US game charts, Dark Resurrection is 5th on the list of the best selling games for July-August. It has been confirmed that the game is one of the most successful games of Summer 2006. This game includes three characters that weren't in Tekken 5, new game modes, and four new stages as well as remakes of the others.
It is the PlayStation Portable and PlayStation 3 version of Tekken 5. Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection (released as Tekken: Dark Resurrection on the PlayStation Portable) is the seventh installment in the popular Tekken video game franchise.
